​It's Good to Dream! Dream Big!

How many times have you heard someone say "He's a dreamer" and you knew it was not a compliment? When did​ dreaming become a bad thing? Is the fear of failure and disappointment so deep that we can't even bear to see others fail? Or, is it that we can't stand to see others succeed where we can not dare to try?

I also think the thought of dreaming big makes us think we must have enormous, glamorous, complicated goals. If we aren't chasing the "American dream" or striving to "keep up with the Joneses" then we aren't dreaming big enough. That is not what it means to dream big!

A big dream is the result of many little dreams in the different areas of our lives. We each have visions, ideas, plans...dreams for every area of our lives. We have visions of good health, healthy relationships, jobs we love, financial security, a life style that feeds our spirit. Some find peace and inspiration in the mountains, some find it near the ocean, others find their "happy" place in the hustle and bustle of the city, others in the small town.  Do you know what your dreams are?

Maybe you have never thought about what your dreams are for the different areas of your life. A good first step is the "Miracle question"

If you woke up tomorrow and everything was as you would dream it to be, what would your day look like? 

What would your health be?

What would your relationships look like?

What would your spiritual life look like?

What would your financial situation be?

Where would you live?

Where would you work?

Now, what can you do today, right now, to take one step toward your dreams in one or more areas of your life?

Take that step.
